My Testimony

I just want to share with you my personal testimony.  At the age of 8 years old I accepted Jesus as my personal savior.  I have a deep abiding faith in the Lord.  I don't know where I would have been without him on this cancer journey, as well as my husband, daughters, family members, friends and neighbors.  On the day of my surgery I told the Lord, "you are the only one who can go into that operating room with me, no one else outside of the doctors and attendants".  What a solemn thought, what total reliance on God!  May God be with you as you travel your cancer journey, may you accept him as your personal savior, if you haven't already done so.

Here is one of my favorite songs, because like so many people, I feel I have lived this song.

GOD'S BEEN GOOD

Verse 1

Lately I've been looking back, along life's winding road
To the old familiar markers of the mercies I have known
And I know it may sound simple but it's more than a cliche
There's no other words to tell you, but to say

Chorus

God's been good in my life
I feel blessed beyond my wildest dreams when I go to sleep each night
Though I've had my share of hard times, I wouldn't change them if I could
'Cause through it all, God's been good

Verse 2

Times replay and I can see I've cried some bitter tears
But I felt His arms around me, as I faced my darkest fears
I've had more gains than losses and I've known more joy than hurt
As His grace rolled down upon me undeserved

Chorus

Bridge

God has been my Father, He's been my Savior and my Friend
His love was my beginning,  His love will be my end
I could spend forever trying to tell you everything He is
So the best way I can say it is like this

Chorus
