From every wound there is a scar, and every scar tells a story. A story that says, "I SURVIVED." Welcome to my Cancer blog. I am privileged you stopped by. I hope that by sharing my story, it might in some small way be an encouragement to you. Never give up!

One Month
It has been one month today since I have had my implant surgery. I still have sutures and will see the surgeon tomorrow. It looks like the incision is healing nicely. I put an underwire bra on that I had before the whole cancer journey began, and I was very pleased with the way it looked. It looked "normal" I am told that sometimes there is excess fabric at the nipple area, because the implant is circular and is not the same shape as a breast. I am not sure yet as to when I can start wearing my regular bras again, but I am pleased that I will be able to wear them again!
