October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It is the first day of October, time to think about Breast Cancer whether we want to or not, as there are reminders everywhere. I have breast cancer, something I try not to dwell on or think about.  Breast Cancer is one of those life changing events, where your life and those around you are forever changed, there is no going back, all you can do is move forward.  As we go through the month of October, there will be cancer commercials, cancer walks, merchandise in most stores, everywhere reminders.  May this be the year they find a cure and no woman or man ever has to get this awful disease in the future.  Here's to making the journey together.
